Welcome To The St. Valentine's Day Beat Battle Massacre!

The Battle was an awesome event! We had a great turnout with about 100 attendees. The winner was Scylla! Scylla has been on a tear lately as he won the Milwaukee Pad Masters Open last year as well. We had a great time, promoted some good music and we will be running it back on May 17th. Right back at La Bodega and you have to be in this battle to qualify for our summer battle which we will announce very shortly! Here is the full battle from Valentine's Day 2024!

Here Are The Official Beat Battle Details

There Can Be Only One Winner

Welcome to the official battle details. We want to hear the absolute most far out and creative production the world has to offer. All styles of production are welcome. 

The rules are simple. Each producer gets one minute to play a beat. You can have the DJ to play it, you can play it off your phone, you can play it off your drum machine, we don't care it just better be hot and bumpin'. 

How many beats will you need? We plan to have anywhere from 16-32 producers. I will cap it if registration becomes heavy. You can plan on 4 to 5 rounds of battles. If the judges want to hear one more beat then you should have a couple of them in reserve. The final round will be 2 out of 3. If I was battling I would have 5 rounds, 2 tie breakers and 2  beats for the finals. That gives me a total of 9 beats.

You can register to enter the battle here on eventbrite. Cover for the battle is $10 at the door. The fee to compete is $25. To battle you must pre-register. We will not collect your money until the day of the battle at the battle, please have cash. The registration is just a head count for producers.

You will be judged on creativity, sonic quality, crowd response, and your personal presentation of the production. There can only be one winner but believe me there aren't any losers. Please respect the judges decisions.
